Unlike traditional fashion retailers we never place orders for fabrics to be manufactured. Instead, we use what is available and is discarded by the manufacturers. Often as a result of excess production or simply bad planning.
Any excess fabric is not good enough. Each of the fabrics we use go through a carefull quality and design assesment process. This is to ensure that it can be saved with no compromises on style and quality.
Fabric production and dyeing are the two main causes of emissions within a garments lifecycle. We aim to minimize our impact by making sure all that energy has not been spent for a piece of fabric that will get scrapped.
